2005-11-30 - I was running a radar scope @ HQ 34th Air Division and had 2 reports on the same night by 2 pilots.One was a civilian pilot and one was a military pilot. Both had the same type of object cylinder in shape following their aircraft. I did not have the objects on my scope,one was on the eastern side (New York) the other was on the western side Chicago area. Both incidents happened within minutes of each other. I told the officer in charge and he said " you never got the reports I don't want to fill out all that F'n paperwork.) That was the last I heard of the incidents.
